| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Michael L. "Mike" Ryon of Peoria, who |
| 4 | | passed away on November 20, 2018; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Mike Ryon was born in Peoria to William A. and |
| 6 | | Mary C. (Martin) Ryon on February 16, 1957; he earned his |
| 7 | | master's degree in education from Illinois State University; |
| 8 | | and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Mike Ryon was an educator in the Peoria Public |
| 10 | | Schools for over 25 years; most recently, he worked at the |
| 11 | | Peoria Alternative School; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Mike Ryon was an avid collector of antiques, a |
| 13 | | gardener, a student of history, and a dog lover; he was a |
| 14 | | gentle soul who enjoyed his friends and family and will be |
| 15 | | especially missed by his nieces and nephews; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Mike Ryon was preceded in death by his parents and |
| 17 | | his brother, David Ryon; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Mike Ryon is survived by his brothers, Timothy |
| 19 | | (Nancy) Ryon and Tom (Mary) Ryon; his sister-in-law, Marialice |
| 20 | | Ryon; and his eight nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
