| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Ted Kuhnen of Prophetstown, who passed |
| 4 | | away on November 14, 2018; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Ted Kuhnen was born in Champaign to Harold and |
| 6 | | Kathryn Fahr Kuhnen on January 30, 1936; he was a member of the |
| 7 | | United States Army Reserves for six years; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Ted Kuhnen worked as an assistant farm adviser in |
| 9 | | Whiteside County; he then farmed north of Morrison for three |
| 10 | | years; after farming, he went to work at Erie Lumber & Grain |
| 11 | | and then eventually Hooppole Lumber & Grain, from where he |
| 12 | | retired; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Ted Kuhnen is survived by his wife; his daughters, |
| 14 | | Joy Burns, Cindy Saad, and Betsy Hull; his sons, Don and Jeff; |
| 15 | | his 15 grandchildren; his 14 great-grandchildren; and his |
| 16 | | sister, Linda McCormick; therefore, be it
|
| 17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL |
| 18 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 19 | | Ted Kuhnen and extend our sincere condolences to his family, |
| 20 | | friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
