SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Jim Janak of Park Ridge, who passed away 
4on December 4, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jim Janak was born to Ed and Marybeth Janak on 
6September 5, 1980; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Jim Janak was elected to the Park Ridge Park Board 
8in April 2017; a positive advocate of the Park District, he was 
9an active participant in programs and events, enthusiastic 
10about upcoming projects, and a dedicated public servant; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Jim Janak lived life to the fullest; he was fun, 
12loving, and kind hearted; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Jim Janak was preceded in death by his 
14grandfather, Edward Janak; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Jim Janak is survived by his wife, Stacie; his 
16children, Finnegan and Addison; his parents, Ed and Marybeth; 
17his grandparents Irene Janak and Jim and "Gagoo" Cunneen; his 
18siblings, Brian and Katie; his in-laws, Dale and Diane 
19Schoenrock; his brother-in-law, Brent (Nichol) Allen; and his 
20sister-in-law, Michelle (Rick) Brueckmann; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Jim Janak and extend our sincere condolences to his family, 
4friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Jim Janak as an expression of our 
7deepest sympathy.
