| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 124 on page 2, by |
| 3 | | replacing lines 1 and 2 with the following: |
| 4 | | "training, education, and experience as the Board may from time |
| 5 | | to time prescribe so long as persons who have an associate's |
| 6 | | degree or 60 credit hours at an accredited college or |
| 7 | | university are not disqualified, and shall be required to pass |
| 8 | | successfully"; and
|
| 9 | | on page 3, line 8, by inserting after the period the following: |
| 10 | | "Nothing in this subsection (a) limits the Board's ability to |
| 11 | | prescribe education prerequisites or requirements to certify |
| 12 | | Department of State Police officers for promotion as provided |
| 13 | | in Section 10 of this Act.".
