HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Greater 
4Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce on being named the 2018 
5Outstanding Chamber of the Year by the Illinois Association of 
6Chamber of Commerce Executives (IACCE); and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, The IACCE Outstanding Chamber of the Year Award 
8highlights accomplishments in the areas of leadership, 
9governance, finance, advocacy, and membership development; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, The Greater Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce 
11was chosen out of 135 chambers and was recognized for its 
12creative ribbon cuttings, well-attended and informative 
13luncheons, and an active and engaging presence on social media; 
14and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, This prestigious recognition affirms the good 
16work being done by the Greater Jefferson County Chamber of 
17Commerce to further business development and community 
18involvement throughout Jefferson County; therefore, be it
  
 

  
19    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
20HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
21we congratulate the Greater Jefferson County Chamber of

1Commerce on receiving the 2018 Outstanding Chamber of the Year 
2Award from the Illinois Association of Commerce Executives, and
