HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Phi Beta Sigma 
4Fraternity, Inc. on celebrating 105 years of service, 
5community, and brotherhood; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Phi Beta Sigma is an international organization of 
7leaders that makes a difference in the lives of many young men 
8and society as a whole; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Phi Beta Sigma's goal is to create sustainable, 
10measurable programs that provide a long-term impact within 
11communities and provide for  long-term financial solvency for 
12the organization; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Phi Beta Sigma's motto for the upcoming year is 
14"Rewrite the Narrative"; and
  
 
  
15    WHEREAS, Phi Beta Sigma has a continuous aim to create a 
16brotherhood experience that goes beyond America's 
17expectations; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
19HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
20we congratulate Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. on celebrating

3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
