| 6 | | Association (IHSA) Class 2A State Football Championship; and

| 7 | | WHEREAS, After trailing in the first quarter, the Falcons |
| 8 | | defeated Maroa-Forsyth 35-16 on November
23, 2018 at Memorial |
| 9 | | Stadium on the campus of the University of Illinois at |
| 10 | | Champaign-Urbana; and

| 11 | | WHEREAS, The Falcons finished the season with a perfect |
| 12 | | record of 14-0; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, The Falcons also defeated Maroa-Forsyth in 2017's |
| 14 | | title game, making this the second
consecutive Class 2A state |
| 15 | | title for GCMS; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, The Falcons are led by Head Coach Mike Allen and |
