| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate Delaney Hall of Lebanon on |
| 4 | | being named
one of the top two youth volunteers in Illinois for |
| 5 | | 2019 as part of the 24th annual Prudential Spirit of Community
|
| 6 | | Awards; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Delaney Hall will receive a $1,000 award, an |
| 8 | | engraved silver medallion, and a trip to
Washington, D.C. on |
| 9 | | May 4-7 for a series of national recognition events; over |
| 10 | | 29,000 young people across the country participated in this
|
| 11 | | year's program; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards were |
| 13 | | created in 1995 by Prudential Financial in partnership with the
|
| 14 | | National Association of Secondary School Principals and are |
| 15 | | designed to emphasize the importance our
nation places on |
| 16 | | service to others and to encourage all young Americans to |
| 17 | | contribute to their communities; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Delaney Hall represents the best of America's |
| 19 | | youth and is a role model to her peers and her community; |
| 20 | | therefore, be it
