HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate the Jacksonville High 
4School dance team, the J'ettes, on their success at the 2019 
5Illinois Drill Team Association state competition on February 
69, 2019 in Springfield; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, The J'ettes won state titles in the categories of 
8pom dance and lyrical; this is the team's first title in 
9lyrical; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, This is the second consecutive year the J'ettes 
11earned a state title in the AA division; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, The J'ettes also received the highest score of the 
13day in the AA division among all the categories of competition; 
14and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, The J'ettes are coached by Allyson Maul and 
16Tiffany Hickox; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, The J'ettes are Sarah May (co-captain),
Sarah

Grayson Moore

4    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
5HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
6we congratulate the Jacksonville High School dance team, the 
7J'ettes, on their success at the 2019 Illinois Drill Team 
8Association state competition, and we wish them many more 
9successful years; and be it further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copies of this resolution be 
11presented to the J'ettes as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
