| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate the Lavin Cassidy School | ||||||
| 4 | of Irish Dance on all of their recent accomplishments; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, The Lavin Cassidy School of Irish Dance competed | ||||||
| 6 | at the 2018 World Irish Dancing Championships in Glasgow, | ||||||
| 7 | Scotland and will again compete at the 2019 World Irish Dancing | ||||||
| 8 | Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, The Lavin Cassidy School of Irish Dance saw a | ||||||
| 10 | great deal of success at the 2018 competition; the 1st Place | ||||||
| 11 | Globe Winners: Under 19 Ladies Ceili were Alyssa Hoban,
| ||||||
| 12 | Elizabeth Gildea,
Tara Campbell,
Caitlin Langs,
Kiley Ross | ||||||
| 13 | (World Qualifying Soloist),

| 13 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 14 | HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 15 | we congratulate the Lavin Cassidy School of Irish Dance on all | ||||||
| 16 | of their recent accomplishments, commend their hard work and | ||||||
| 17 | dedication, and wish them the best as they compete in the 2019 | ||||||
| 18 | World Irish Dancing Championships; and be it further
| ||||||
| 19 | RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be | ||||||
| 20 | presented to the Lavin Cassidy School of Dance and each of the | ||||||
| 21 | names mentioned above as an expression of our esteem and | ||||||
