HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate the West 
4Lincoln-Broadwell Lady Wolverines volleyball team on winning 
5the Seventh Grade Class 1A State Tournament on March 9, 2019 
6and bringing the school its first-ever state championship in 
7volleyball; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, The Lady Wolverines defeated the Limestone 
9Walters in the championship match in two sets with scores of 
1025-12 and 25-9; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, This victory in the State Championship was a 
12perfect endnote to the Lady Wolverines's undefeated season; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, The Lady Wolverines are Jane Turner, Becca 
14Heitzig, Kloe Froebe, Sydney Ramlow, Kendal Long, Anastin 
15Simonson, Regan Goodney, Jenna Bowman, Piper Whiteman, Tori 
16Geriets, Rebecca Burge, Alyssa Bishop, Ally Battin, and Alison 
17Turner; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, The Lady Wolverines are coached by Head Coach Kim 
19Heitzig and Assistant Coaches Ashley Paulus, Emma Derry, and 
20Kaylyn Hoffert; the team's managers are Malina Luckhart, Mia 
21Clark, and Lily Holmes; and

1    WHEREAS, The Lady Wolverines's victory shows the hard work 
2and determination of all members, coaches, and managers of the 
37th grade volleyball team; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
5HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
6we congratulate the West Lincoln-Broadwell 7th grade 
7volleyball team on their Class 1A State Tournament win, and we 
8wish them many more successful seasons; and be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be 
10presented to each member of the Lady Wolverines 7th grade 
11volleyball team and to each member of their coaching staff as 
12an expression of our esteem and respect.
