HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate the Mount Pulaski 8th 
4grade volleyball team, The Honeybears, on winning the 8th Grade 
5Class 2A State Championship on March 17, 2019; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, The Honeybears defeated Kewanee Wethersfield in a 
7three-set championship game with scores of 25-15, 19-25, and 
825-15; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, The Honeybears also had to win in three sets 
10against Mendota Unity in the semi-finals, showing their 
11endurance and drive; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, The Honeybears are Mackenzi Chandler, Scout 
13Tschantz, Je'Na Rentmeister, Alyson Murphy, Ella Bobell, 
14Cecilia Davis, Chloe Stone, Alexis Wade, Emarie Willis, Kate 
15Beckers, Kamrie Charron, Hailee Daigh, Grace Davis, Keyleigh 
16Stewart, and Makenna Wilham; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, The Honeybears are coached by Head Coach Donna 
18Dulle and Assistant Coaches Bethany Dulle and Heather Murphy; 
19and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, The Honeybears should be applauded for their hard

1work and perseverance; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
3HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
4we congratulate the Mt. Pulaski 8th grade volleyball team on 
5their class 2A State Championship; and be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be 
7presented to each member of the volleyball team and to each 
8member of their coaching staff.
