HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to commend Dominic Falagario on his 
4service to the Village of Norridge; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Dominic Falagario was elected to a four-year term 
6as Village Trustee in 1999; as a Trustee, he chaired the Law 
7and Ordinance Committee; most notably, he sat on the Advisory 
8Review Committee and the Zoning Board of Trustees and was 
9responsible for adjudication court; he served as a member of 
10the Finance, License, and Contracts and the Village Properties, 
11Sidewalks, Environment, and Economic Development Committees; 
12and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, An active community member, Dominic Falagario 
14served as Norridge Park District President and Commissioner for 
1518 years; he served on a Telecommunications Advisory Committee 
16in 1997 and was a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals; he was 
17also involved in Norridge Youth Activities as coach and manager 
18for ten years; he was one of the founders of the Pre-School, 
19Day Care, and Adult Recreation Centers at the Norridge Park 
20District as well as the Greater Illinois Semi-Pro Baseball 
21League, where he represented Norridge; and
  
 

  
22    WHEREAS, A retired executive from Supervalue, Dominic

1Falagario served as the head of store planning and development; 
2he has a degree in architectural engineering and design and was 
3active with the Architectural Review Committee and the National 
4Institute of Store Planners; he has resided in Norridge for the 
5past 52 years; therefore, be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
7HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
8we commend Dominic Falagario on his service to the Village of 
9Norridge; and be it further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to Dominic Falagario as an expression of our esteem 
12and respect.
