HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Dan Reedy on
his long and 
4illustrious career with the Kendall County Farm Bureau; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Dan Reedy has served as manager of the Kendall 
6County Farm Bureau for over 37
years; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, The job of farm bureau manager required Dan Reedy 
8to not only assist member farmers
but also manage  personnel, 
9the building, all finances, and any other issues that would 
10arise in the
farming community; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, During his tenure as farm bureau manager, Dan 
12Reedy was able to swiftly adapt to the massive changes 
13affecting the
agricultural world; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Dan Reedy has had a lasting impact on his 
15community by being an active member of
local 4-H clubs and 
16helping a new generation take over family farms; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Despite hard times, Dan Reedy sees optimism in the 
18future of the agricultural world due to
its expansion into new 
19and exciting areas; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
2HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we congratulate Dan Reedy on
his lifelong commitment to the 
4farming community of Kendall County, and we wish him
a relaxing 
5retirement; and be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to Dan Reedy and his family as a symbol of our 
8respect and esteem.
