| 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Keith |
| 4 | | Tate of Chicago, who passed away on December 17, 2018; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Keith Tate was the oldest of three children born |
| 6 | | to the union of Elwin L. Tate and Ola M. Dixon; he was raised on |
| 7 | | the South Side of Chicago in the historic Chatham neighborhood; |
| 8 | | and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Keith Tate graduated from St. Dorothy School and |
| 10 | | Hales Franciscan High School; he received his Bachelor of |
| 11 | | Science in Business and Administration, with a concentration in |
| 12 | | Accounting, from Chicago State University; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Keith Tate was actively involved in his community, |
| 14 | | where he served as President of the Chatham-Avalon Community |
| 15 | | Council for many years and as President of the Hales Franciscan |
| 16 | | Alumni Association; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Keith Tate was a devoted husband of more than 40 |
| 18 | | years to his wife Shirley and a devoted father to their two |
| 19 | | sons, Marcus and Rawling; and
|
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Keith Tate had a full career, working for multiple |
