| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate Dan Alan Hageman on the |
| 4 | | occasion of his retirement after 50 years of coaching; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Coach Hageman began his career in elementary |
| 6 | | physical education in 1969 at
Catlin Grade School; he started |
| 7 | | coaching high school football in 1970 at Catlin High School; in |
| 8 | | 2002, he retired from teaching but continued to coach football; |
| 9 | | his
career highlights began with the 1976 Wolverine Machine in |
| 10 | | which Catlin High School appeared in the
playoffs for five |
| 11 | | consecutive years and won 33 consecutive East Central |
| 12 | | Conference games; over the last 50 years, his teams have |
| 13 | | participated in 29 Illinois High School Association state
|
| 14 | | playoffs; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Coach Hageman
was inducted into the Illinois High |
| 16 | | School Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2007; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Coach Hageman married his wife, Donna, in 1975; he |
| 18 | | enjoys spending time with his three children, Angela, Joe, and |
| 19 | | Doug and his seven grandchildren, Evan,
Payton, Jordan, Jacey, |
| 20 | | Hayden, Robbie, and Ryne; and
|
| 21 | | WHEREAS, Coach Hageman has only missed one practice in the |
