HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Talicia Levy on receiving 
4the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest honor a Girl Scout can 
5earn; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, For her gold project, Talicia Levy created a 
7reading area for Mrs. Miller's fourth grade class at Oak View 
8Elementary School; she made three bookcases that needed to fit 
9perfectly under the classroom's smart board and painted them 
10blue and yellow; she also made two cubed ottoman seats with 
11inside storage for additional classroom storage; and
  
 

  
12    WHEREAS, The reading area Talicia Levy created will help 
13children enjoy reading for many years to come; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, The Girl Scout Gold Award acknowledges the power 
15behind each recipient's dedication to not only empowering and 
16bettering herself but also to making the world a better place 
17for others; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
19HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
20we congratulate Talicia Levy on receiving the Girl Scout Gold 
21Award, the highest honor a Girl Scout can earn, and wish her

1success in her future endeavors; and be it further
  
 
2    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
