| 4 | | occasion of his 100th birthday; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Martin Victor was born on August 4, 1919 and
is a |
| 6 | | widower of Adeline Jacques Victor, his loving wife; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Martin Victor is a World War II veteran; he served |
| 8 | | as a Private 1st Class and was stationed in France and Belgium |
| 9 | | in Unit 614, Medical Clearing Company; during his time in the |
| 10 | | service, he received a Good Conduct Medal and a sharp shooter |
| 11 | | accommodation; after serving his country, he received an |
| 12 | | honorable discharge; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Martin Victor is a longtime resident of Steger and |
| 14 | | is an active parishioner of St. Liborius Church in Steger; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Martin Victor is a retired machinist; he is a |
| 16 | | generous person and always helps anyone that he possibly can; |
| 17 | | he has loved to play golf for most of his life and was a scratch |
| 18 | | golfer as a young man; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, August 4, 1919 marks a significant day to |
| 20 | | celebrate, a centenary of having an incredible individual on |
