HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Jacob Morales on 
4achieving the rank of Eagle Scout; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jacob Morales is a member of Troop 93 of the 
6Pathway to Adventure Council of the Boy Scouts of America, 
7sponsored by St. Peter United Church of Christ in Lake Zurich; 
8and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, For his Eagle project, Jacob Morales  built 12 bat

10houses and installed them on six 20 foot poles in the local 
11park; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Jacob Morales chose this project to
raise 
13awareness of the importance of bats in the environment; he 
14funded his project through donations
at a local heritage event, 
15saving significant funding for the park district; and
  
 
  
16    WHEREAS, Jacob Morales will be honored for his achievements 
17and service during a recognition ceremony to be held on 
18December 21, 2019 at St. Peter United Church of
Christ; 
19therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE

1HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
2we congratulate Jacob Morales on achieving the rank of Eagle 
3Scout, and we wish him the best in all his future endeavors; 
4and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to Jacob Morales as an expression of our esteem and 
7respect.
