HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to
congratulate and recognize 
4milestone events taking place in our communities; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Stark 
6County Farm Bureau to be celebrated at their annual meeting; 
7and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, The Stark County Farm Bureau was founded with 585 
9members under President W.W. Wright and Vice President W.H.

10Jackson but has grown much more since then; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, The Stark County Farm Bureau serves as a voice for 
12the agricultural industry in Stark County, beginning with
their 
13concern about the manner in which farmers carry much of the 
14burden of the nation's
economy; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, The Stark County Farm Bureau ensures that farmers 
16benefit from their organization, beginning  with their
uniform 
17price for hand picking corn in 1919; and
 
18    WHEREAS, The Stark County Farm Bureau educates the 
19generations of today and tomorrow about the agricultural

20industry; and

1    WHEREAS, The Stark County Farm Bureau always honors and 
2serves its members; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
4HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
5we congratulate the Stark County Farm Bureau on its 100th 
6anniversary, and we wish the organization many more successful 
7years; and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of the resolution  be 
9presented to the Stark County
Farm Bureau as an expression of 
10our esteem and respect.
