HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Matthew Tomaszewski on 
4achieving the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of 
5America; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Matthew Tomaszewski is a resident of Lake Zurich 
7and a member of BSA Troop 93; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Matthew Tomaszewski's Eagle Scout project 
9consisted of
building 70 bluebird house kits for the Leave No 
10Child Inside's KidFest; he managed volunteers
as they built the 
11bird house kits and trained the scouts in his troop on how to 
12guide the children as
they built the bird houses; he also 
13informed the children attending Kidfest about bluebirds, their 
14habitat, and
how to set up the bird house; he was able to
fully 
15fund his project through donations from local businesses, which 
16saved Leave No Child Inside significant funding; and
  
 

  
17    WHEREAS, Matthew Tomaszewski was honored during a 
18recognition ceremony at
St. Peter United Church of Christ on 
19December 21, 2019; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
21HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that

1we congratulate Matthew Tomaszewski on achieving the rank of 
2Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America and wish him many 
3more successful years; and be it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented Matthew Tomaszewski as a symbol of our respect and 
6esteem.
