| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate the West |
| 4 | | Lincoln-Broadwell Junior High School Girls Basketball team, |
| 5 | | the Wolverines, on winning the 2019 Illinois Elementary School |
| 6 | | Association Class 1A State Girls Basketball Championship for |
| 7 | | both the 7th and 8th grade teams; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, The 7th grade Wolverines secured a 25 to 20 |
| 9 | | victory over Ashland-Chandlerville Central Middle School at |
| 10 | | Assumption Central A & M Middle School on December 12, 2019; |
| 11 | | and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, The 8th grade Wolverines secured a 39 to 28 |
| 13 | | victory over A-C Central Middle School at Clinton Junior High |
| 14 | | School on December 19, 2019; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, With these championships, West Lincoln-Broadwell |
| 16 | | has now won both the 7th and 8th grade Class 1A girls |
| 17 | | basketball championships for the last three years, making it |
| 18 | | six total state championships in three years; and |
| 19 | | WHEREAS, The Wolverines are led by Head Coach Kari Froebe |
| 20 | | and Assistant Coaches Brad Schneider and Cory Farmer; and

| 11 | | HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |

| 13 | | Girls Basketball team, the Wolverines, on winning the 2019 |
