| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of |
| 4 | | Jacqueline "Jackie" Dominowski Kostrzewa, who passed away |
| 5 | | peacefully at her home surrounded by her children on July 13, |
| 6 | | 2020; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Jackie Kostrzewa was a devoted and loving mother |
| 8 | | to John (Melissa) Kostrzewa, Jeanne (Michael) Morrelli, and |
| 9 | | Karen and Suzi (Randy) Kostrzewa; she was a caring grandmother |
| 10 | | to Courtney, Kristopher, Anthony, Jonathon, and Colette; she |
| 11 | | was a loving sister to the late Gale (Cheryl) Dominowski; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Jackie Kostrzewa was a dedicated and active |
| 13 | | resident of the North Mayfair community on Chicago's northwest |
| 14 | | side; she attended grammar school at Saint Edward's Catholic |
| 15 | | School; she was an iconic neighbor of Kolmar Avenue, the street |
| 16 | | on which she lived much of her life; additionally, she served |
| 17 | | on the North Mayfair Improvement Association Board as financial |
| 18 | | secretary and vice president; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Jackie Kostrzewa's love for Chicago extended |
| 20 | | beyond her home community; she engaged civically as an election |
| 21 | | judge for over 20 years and was politically active across the |
| 22 | | city; and
|
