HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Logan Searle on achieving 
4the rank of Eagle Scout; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Logan Searle is a member of Boy Scouts of America 
6Troop 297, Pathway to Adventure Council; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, During Logan Searle's 11 years with the Boy 
8Scouts, he has  learned numerous skills, hiked many miles, 
9mastered safe and responsible shooting skills, fished, cycled, 
10and camped dozens of nights; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Logan Searle also enjoys participating in his 
12church youth group and excels at both the string and electric 
13bass, which earned him a spot with the symphony orchestra as a 
14sophomore at his high school; he is also the principal bassist 
15in the Schaumburg Youth Symphony Orchestra; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Logan Searle takes college advanced placement 
17courses and hopes to study computer science at Purdue 
18University; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Logan Searle's Eagle Scout project benefited the 
20Children's Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County

1in Hoffman Estates, where he built a pergola in the butterfly 
2garden; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
4HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
5we congratulate Logan Searle on achieving the rank of Eagle 
6Scout and wish him the best in all his future endeavors; and be 
7it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to Logan Searle as a symbol of our respect and 
10esteem.
