| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 37, on page 4, |
| 3 | | immediately below line 8, by inserting the following: |
| 4 | | "The contributions required under paragraphs (2) and (3) of |
| 5 | | this subsection are for the purposes of compensating the |
| 6 | | primary employer's pension fund for additional liabilities and |
| 7 | | risks to which firefighters are exposed when performing work as |
| 8 | | firefighters for secondary employers. |
| 9 | | Nothing in this Section shall be construed to allow a |
| 10 | | secondary employee to qualify for benefits or creditable |
| 11 | | service for employment as firefighters for secondary |
| 12 | | employers.".
