| 4 | | "Section 5. The Public Utilities Act is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Section 4-701 as follows:

| 7 | | Sec. 4-701. Generation availability and cost during peak |
| 8 | | electricity demand periods. The Illinois Commerce Commission |
| 9 | | shall conduct at least one workshop and issue a report on the |
| 10 | | performance of all power generation in the State during the |
| 11 | | summer peak demand periods of 2018 and the winter peak demand |
| 12 | | period of 2018-2019, and identify which resources ensure the |
| 13 | | lowest cost and most reliable generation for Illinois |
| 14 | | consumers. The report under this Section shall be submitted to |
| 15 | | the Governor and the General Assembly, as well as posted on the |
| 16 | | Internet website of the Commission, on or before March 1, 2020. |
