| 4 | | "Section 5. The General Assembly Operations Act is amended |
| 5 | | by adding Section 13 as follows:

| 7 | | Sec. 13. Firearm legislation; requirements. Any member of |
| 8 | | the General Assembly who wishes to introduce a bill pertaining |
| 9 | | to a firearm must be able to produce proof, upon request, that |
| 10 | | he or she has completed: (1) the firearm training requirements |
| 11 | | under Section 75 of the Firearm Concealed Carry Act or range |
| 12 | | safety training; and (2) a basic knowledge test of calibers and |
| 13 | | gauges of firearms.".
