| 4 | | "Section 5. The Early Intervention Services System Act is |
| 5 | | amended by adding Section 11.5 as follows:

| 6 | | (325 ILCS 20/11.5 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 11.5. Special education and related services for |
| 8 | | school-aged children. No later than the date upon which an |
| 9 | | eligible infant or toddler enrolls in an early intervention |
| 10 | | program, the lead agency shall notify the State education |
| 11 | | agency and the local education agency for the area in which the |
| 12 | | infant or toddler resides that the infant or toddler, on his or |
| 13 | | her third birthday, will reach the age of eligibility for |
| 14 | | services under Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities |
| 15 | | Education Act.".
