| 3 | | lines 7 and 8, by replacing "by referendum" with "in Lake |

| 5 | | on page 2, immediately below line 16, by inserting the |
| 6 | | following: |
| 7 | | "(d) This Section only applies to police departments in |
| 8 | | municipalities wholly within Lake County.

| 9 | | (e) Subsections (a) and (b) of this Section are inoperative |
| 10 | | on and after January 1, 2030.".
