AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1597 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1597 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:





 
 

4    "(P.A. 83-841, Sec. 2 rep.)

5    Section 5. "An  Act  authorizing  the  Director of Central 
6Management
Services to convey certain described lands", 
7approved September 26, 1983, Public Act 83-841, is amended by 
8repealing Section 2.
 
9    Section 10. "An  Act  authorizing  the  Director of Central 
10Management
Services to convey certain described lands", 
11approved September 26, 1983, Public Act 83-841, is amended by 
12adding Section 2.5 as follows:
 
13    (P.A. 83-841, Sec. 2.5 new)
14    Sec. 2.5. The Department of Central Management Services 
15shall execute and record a release of the reverter clause

1contained in the quitclaim deed filed in the office of the  
2Kankakee County Recorder on January 26, 1984 as Document No. 84 
300666 upon the payment by the Village of Manteno to the State 
4of Illinois of the fair market value as determined by an 
5appraisal procured by the Village of Manteno using conditions 
6agreed upon by the State of Illinois for such appraisal.
7    The Village of Manteno is prohibited from selling the 
8property to a private entity within 3 years from the recording 
9date of the quitclaim deed releasing the reverter clause.
 
 
10    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
11becoming law.".
