AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1624




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1624 on page 1, 
3line 5, by deleting "and by adding Section 55"; and
 

4on page 5, line 4, by changing "100" to "500"; and
 

5on page 5, by replacing lines 13 and 14 with the following:

6    "Such notification must be made in the most expedient time 
7possible and without unreasonable delay but in no event later 
8than when"; and
 

9on page 5, line 16, by deleting ", whichever is sooner"; and
 

10on page 5, by replacing lines 20 through 26 with the following:
11    "Upon receiving notification from a data collector of a 
12breach of personal information, the Attorney General may 
13publish the name of the data collector that suffered the 
14breach, the types of personal information compromised in the

1breach, and the date range of the breach."; and
 
2on page 6, by deleting lines 1 through 14; and
 

3on page 6, by deleting lines 16 through 25; and
