| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1791 on page 1, |
| 3 | | line 9, by replacing "Nutritional" with "Nutrition"; and

| 4 | | on page 1, by replacing lines 12 through 19 with the following: |
| 5 | | "The Illinois Department of Human Services shall operate a |
| 6 | | SNAP Employment and Training (SNAP E&T) program Food Stamp |
| 7 | | Employment and Training (FSE&T) program in
compliance with |
| 8 | | federal law. The SNAP E&T FSE&T program may only be mandatory |
| 9 | | in counties where the Department can show that there are |
| 10 | | sufficient program slots for at least the majority of the |
| 11 | | county's current non-exempt work registrants as described in |
| 12 | | Section 11-20 of this Code. Nothing in this Section shall |
| 13 | | prevent the Department from operating a fully voluntary SNAP |
