| 1 | | AN ACT concerning State government.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Department of Commerce and Economic |
| 5 | | Opportunity Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is |
| 6 | | amended by changing Section 605-30 as follows:
|
| 7 | | (20 ILCS 605/605-30) (was 20 ILCS 605/46.41)
|
| 8 | | Sec. 605-30. State and federal programs, grants, and |
| 9 | | subsidies. The Department shall use the State and federal |
| 10 | | programs,
grants,
and
subsidies that are available to assist in |
| 11 | | the discharge of the
provisions
of the Civil Administrative |
| 12 | | Code of Illinois. The Department shall evaluate eligibility of |
| 13 | | special districts for State and federal programs, grants, and |
| 14 | | subsidies based on eligibility requirements set forth in their |
| 15 | | statutory charters.
