SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes appropriations to the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for costs and expenses related to or in support of the Prairie Research Institute. Effective July 1, 2019.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
ARTICLE 1
Section 5. The sum of $4,045,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois for costs and expenses related to or in support of the Prairie Research Institute for the utilization of helicopter-based time-domain electromagnetics technology for the purpose of fully mapping and characterizing the Mahomet Aquifer in the area defined and referenced as Zone 2 in the Mahomet Aquifer Protection Task Force Report ordered by Public Act 100-403.
Section 99. Effective Date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2019.
