| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2085, on page 1, by |
| 3 | | replacing lines 9 through 11 with the following: |
| 4 | | "(a) As used in this Section, "psychiatric Collaborative |
| 5 | | Care Model" means the evidence-based, integrated behavioral |
| 6 | | health service delivery method, which includes a formal |
| 7 | | collaborative arrangement among a primary care team consisting |
| 8 | | of a primary care provider, a care manager, and a psychiatric |
| 9 | | consultant, and includes, but is not limited to, the following |
| 10 | | elements: |
| 11 | | (1) care directed by the primary care team; |
| 12 | | (2) structured care management; |
| 13 | | (3) regular assessments of clinical status using |
| 14 | | validated tools; and |
| 15 | | (4) modification of treatment as appropriate.".
