AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2104 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2104 on page 3, 
3line 4, by inserting after the period the following:

 
4"However, this subsection is not intended to mandate the use of 
5original equipment manufacturer repair parts that may be 
6recommended in a repair specification or procedure by the 
7original equipment manufacturer for those parts, and this 
8subsection is not applicable to glass repair, replacement, and 
9associated advanced driver assistance system calibration 
10covered by the Automotive Repair Act."; and
 
11on page 3, line 7, by changing "Section 15" to "Sections 15 and 
1280"; and
 
13on page 5, line 2, by changing "by" to "and procedures by"; and
 
14on page 5, line 5, by inserting after the period the following:

7    Sec. 80. Exemptions. This Act does not apply to automotive 
8repair, automotive repair facilities, and motor vehicle repair 
9facilities covered by the
Automotive Repair Act, including 
10advanced driver assistance system calibration associated with 
11glass repair and replacement that is covered by the Automotive 
12Repair Act.
