AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2135




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2135, AS AMENDED, 
3with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment No. 
41, on page 4, by replacing lines 9 through 25 with the 
5following:


6        "(d-5) A law enforcement record created for law 
7    enforcement purposes  and contained in a shared electronic 
8    record management system if the law enforcement agency that 
9    is the recipient of the request did not create the record, 
10    did not participate in or have a role in any of the events 
11    which are the subject of the record, and only has access to 
12    the record through the shared electronic record management 
13    system.
14        (d-6) A law enforcement record that is: (i) created by 
15    a law enforcement agency other than the law enforcement 
16    agency that is the recipient of the request; and (ii) 
17    attached as an exhibit to a law enforcement record created 
18    by the law enforcement agency that is the recipient of the

1    request, if the  law enforcement agency notifies the 
2    requester of the additional law enforcement records 
3    available from different law enforcement agencies and the 
4    law enforcement agencies the requester may contact to 
5    obtain records not produced by the law enforcement agency 
6    that is the recipient of the request.".
