| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3476 on page 51, by |
| 3 | | inserting immediately below line 22 the following: |
| 4 | | "(A-5) The Illinois State Police and the law |
| 5 | | enforcement agency that arrested or otherwise |
| 6 | | initiated charges against the person whose records |
| 7 | | were automatically expunged under subsections (j) and |
| 8 | | (k) shall send a notification, via certified mail, to |
| 9 | | the person's registered address, stating the person's |
| 10 | | records were expunged.".
