| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Elizabeth A. "Betty" Beyer of |
| 4 | | Lindenhurst, who passed away on November 17, 2018; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Betty Beyer was born in Waukegan on May 8, 1926 |
| 6 | | and lived most of her life in North Chicago; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Betty Beyer was preceded in death by her husband |
| 8 | | of 72 years, Ray; her sons, Jerome and Joseph; and her |
| 9 | | granddaughter, Jennifer; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Betty Beyer is survived by her children, John |
| 11 | | (Peg) Beyer, Jim (Charlotte) Beyer, Linda Belski, Mike (Tricia) |
| 12 | | Beyer, Judy Beyer, and Mary Beth (Lovat) Veitch; 11 |
| 13 | | grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Sr. |
| 14 | | Margot Schueneman; therefore, be it

| 15 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL |
| 16 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 17 | | Elizabeth A. "Betty" Beyer and extend our sincere condolences |
| 18 | | to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be |
