SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Daryl L. Crater of South Wilmington, who 
4passed away on December 31, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Daryl Crater was born in Morris to Viola 
6(Domagala) and Donald Dale Crater Sr. on September 3, 1963; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Daryl Crater retired from the Laborers Union, 
8Local #75 in Crest Hill; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Daryl Crater was a member of the Fireman's Beach 
10Club in South Wilmington and the South Wilmington Sportsman's 
11Club in Essex; he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and kayaking, and 
12he was a skilled chef, especially when it came to grilling; he 
13was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Daryl Crater was preceded in death by his father; 
15and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Daryl Crater is survived by his daughter, Samantha 
17(fiance, Brandon Jordanov); his mother; his brothers, Donald 
18Crater Jr. and Robert (Cheryl) Crater; his nieces and nephews, 
19Chad (Betsy Elberts) Crater and Carissa (Kyle Miller) Crater, 
20Christina (Jason) Ashburn and Benjamin (Megan) Crater; his

1great-nephews, Hunter and Peyton Welsh and Brayden Crater; and 
2his lifelong best friend, Ray Sinkular; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5Daryl L. Crater and extend our sincere condolences to his 
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
7further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Daryl Crater as an expression of our 
10deepest sympathy.
