| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Gladys Darlene Ryan of Gibson City, |
| 4 | | formerly of Foosland, who passed away on January 2, 2019; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Darlene Ryan was born in Cheney Grove Township to |
| 6 | | Richard and Erma Barrett Dean on June 15, 1930; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Darlene Ryan worked for Illinois Bell as a |
| 8 | | switchboard operator and at the Cozy Corner in Fisher as a |
| 9 | | waitress; for many years, she also worked as a dietary aid at |
| 10 | | the Heritage Manor in Gibson City; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Darlene Ryan was a member of the United Methodist |
| 12 | | Church of Foosland Bellflower and was very active in their |
| 13 | | women's club; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Gladys Ryan was preceded in death by her parents; |
| 15 | | her four brothers; and her two sisters; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Gladys Ryan is survived by her children, Kevin |
| 17 | | Ryan and Kenna (Mike) McCall; her grandchildren, Tom (Sarah) |
| 18 | | McCall, Jenny (Scott) Davis, Chase (Kelsey) McCall, Seth |
| 19 | | McCall, Brandon (Jordan) Ryan, Dustin Ryan, Travis Ryan, and |
| 20 | | Courtney Ryan; her seven great-grandchildren; and her sister, |
