| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Eloy Salazar of Mundelein, who passed |
| 4 | | away on January 24, 2019; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Eloy Salazar was born in Des Plaines to Aurora and |
| 6 | | Eduardo Salazar on August 26, 1951; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Eloy Salazar was preceded in death by his brother, |
| 8 | | Eduardo; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Eloy Salazar is survived by his wife of 46 years, |
| 10 | | Elva; his children, Elizabeth (Gustavo Sandoval) Salazar, Eloy |
| 11 | | (Melissa) Salazar, and Erick (Lisa) Salazar; his |
| 12 | | grandchildren, Isabela Sandoval, Anthony Salazar, Kathryn |
| 13 | | Salazar, Santiago Sandoval, Phoebe Salazar, and Charles |
| 14 | | Salazar; and his siblings, Irma, Gerardo, Noela, Adrian, |
| 15 | | Alonzo, Mary, and Oscar; therefore, be it

| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL |
| 17 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 18 | | Eloy Salazar and extend our sincere condolences to his family, |
| 19 | | friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
