SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Thomas John Reynolds, who passed away on 
4January 1, 2019; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Thomas Reynolds was born in Chicago to Irish 
6immigrants Patrick Reynolds and Anne Forde on February 10, 
71938; he served in the United States Army for five years and 
8attained the rank of Captain; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Thomas Reynolds served as a Second Assistant Cook 
10County Public Defender, speaking on behalf of  the 
11underprivileged for 40 years; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Thomas Reynolds was preceded in death by his 
13sister, Patricia Reynolds; and
  
 
  
14    WHEREAS, Thomas Reynolds is survived by his wife of over 45 
15years, Aline Frances (Greenhaw); his children, Patrick "Todd" 
16(Jennifer) Reynolds, Erin (James) Reynolds-Fallis, Kevin 
17(Katherine) Reynolds, and Brianne (Christopher) Croteau; and 
18his grandchildren, Maren, Collin, Teaghan, and Ciara; and his 
19siblings, Margaret Fric and James Reynolds; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Thomas John Reynolds and extend our sincere condolences to his 
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Thomas John Reynolds as an 
7expression of our deepest sympathy.
