| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Gary M. Riley of Homewood, who passed |
| 4 | | away on February 19, 2019; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Gary Riley was born on March 2, 1947; he was a |
| 6 | | graduate of Prairie du Chien Campion High School in Wisconsin |
| 7 | | and Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Gary Riley served in the United States Army during |
| 9 | | the Vietnam War; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Gary Riley was the loving husband of Ellen (Kane) |
| 11 | | Riley, the dear father of Martin and Terri Riley, and the |
| 12 | | grandfather of Liz; therefore, be it
|
| 13 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL |
| 14 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 15 | | Gary M. Riley and extend our sincere condolences to his family, |
| 16 | | friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
|
| 17 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 18 | | presented to the family of Gary Riley as an expression of our |
| 19 | | deepest sympathy.
