SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Paul Kelley, who passed away on February 
42, 2019; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Paul Kelley was born to Harry and Pearl Kelley; he 
6served in the Merchant Marines and the United States Army 
7during World War II; he married Mary Smith; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Paul Kelley retired from the Wood River Water 
9Department; and
  
 
  
10    WHEREAS, Paul Kelley was preceded in death by his parents; 
11his daughter, Laura Lannom; his sons-in-law, Terry Herrin and 
12Carroll Gates; his sister, Eileen Reader; and his brothers, 
13Glen and Robert Kelley; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Paul Kelley is survived by his wife of almost 70 
15years, Mary; his son, Glen (Mary) Kelley; his  daughters, 
16Marilyn (Tom) Jaco, Patricia Gates, and Karen Herrin; 12 
17grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20Paul Kelley and extend our sincere condolences to his family,

1friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
  
 
2    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
3presented to  the family of  Paul Kelley as an expression of our 
4deepest sympathy.
