SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Estella Pruett of Staunton, who passed 
4away on February 24, 2019; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Estella Pruett was born in Omphghent Township, 
6Madison County to Mr. and Mrs. Louis Henke on February 10, 
71932; she married Robert Pruett on June 14, 1952; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Estella Pruett was the area cake decorator and 
9baked many wedding and birthday cakes; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Estella Pruett was a member of Zion Lutheran 
11Church in Staunton; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Estella Pruett was preceded in death by her 
13parents and her husband, Robert; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Estella Pruett is survived by her children, Deanna 
15(Charles) Taylor, Rita (the late William) Watters, and Lonnie 
16(Jean) Pruett; her grandchildren, Robert (Laura) Taylor, Lisa 
17(Jim) Sharp, Amber (Mark) Da Gama Rose, Michael (Liz) Watters, 
18Kimberly (the late Phillip) Simmons, Nicole (Joshua) Montoya, 
19and Beth Pruett; and her 11 great-grandchildren; therefore, be

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Estella Pruett and extend our sincere condolences to her 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Estella Pruett as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
