2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of Nicholas Concepcion Jarmon, who passed |
4 | | away on March 4, 2019; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, Nicholas Jarmon was born in Chicago to Fannie Mae |
6 | | Hayes and Wilbert Jarmon Sr. on August 25, 1974; he attended |
7 | | Ada S. McKinley School, where he earned his high school |
8 | | diploma; and
|
9 | | WHEREAS, Nicholas Jarmon worked at the Ada S. |
10 | | McKinley/Aztlan Adult Training Center; and
|
11 | | WHEREAS, Nicholas Jarmon was affectionately known as |
12 | | "Nick," "Nicky," or Uncle Nick"; he committed to his faith at |
13 | | Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church and was a dedicated member |
14 | | of the congregation; he enjoyed being a member of the |
15 | | Handicap-able Ministry; he loved sports, especially bowling, |
16 | | where he won many trophies; he participated in many Special |
17 | | Olympics; he enjoyed watching YouTube videos, dancing to |
18 | | Michael Jackson songs, and celebrating birthdays; he left an |
19 | | indelible impression on almost everyone he met; and
|
20 | | WHEREAS, Nicholas Jarmon was preceded in death by his |
21 | | parents; his sister, Kawana Yvonne Jarmon; and his brothers, |
