SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Winifred Staunton, longtime resident  of 
4Edison Park; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Winifred Staunton was a native of Srah, 
6Tourmakeady, County Mayo, Ireland; and
  
 


  
7    WHEREAS, Winifred Staunton was the beloved wife of the late 
8Patrick Staunton; the loving mother of Kay (Kevin) Moran, Mary 
9(Stuart) Anderson, Tricia (Tim) Travers, Michael (Eileen) 
10Staunton, Rita (Joe) McGovern, and John (Jean) Staunton; the 
11proud grandmother of 18 and great-grandmother of 24; the dear 
12sister of the late Mary (the late Mike) Moran, the late Nora 
13(the late Sonny) Bourke, the late Bridget (the late Paddy) 
14Walsh, the late John Lally, the late Patrick (Mary) Lally, the 
15late Thomas Lally, and the late Philip (Mary and the late 
16Maureen) Lally; and the loving aunt of Mickey (Noreen) 
17Heneghan; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20Winifred Staunton and extend our sincere condolences to her 
21family, friends, and all who knew and loved her, both here and 
22in Ireland; and be it further
