SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Michael Brett Carmouche, who passed away
4on November 20, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Michael Carmouche was born in Chicago to Linson
6Joseph Carmouche and Ernestine Kelly on May 20, 1963; he
7received his education in the Chicago Public School system at
8Robert F. Abbott Elementary and Chicago Vocational High School,
9where he graduated in 1982; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Michael Carmouche worked in retail and customer
11service management for many years; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Michael Carmouche committed to his faith at an
13early age and became a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist
14Church in Miami Gardens, Florida in 2008; he was a sports
15enthusiast and enjoyed reading, bowling, fishing, and a good
16game of spades, dominoes, or backgammon; most of all, he
17enjoyed spending time with family and friends; cooking for his
18family gave him indescribable joy; he was a devoted father, a
19loving brother, uncle, cousin, and a fiercely loyal friend; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Michael Carmouche was preceded in death by his
21parents; and

1    WHEREAS, Michael Carmouche is survived by his son, Brett;
2his siblings, Ricardo (Joyce), Keith (Stephanie), Carla,
3Brandon, Susan (Darryl), and Nicole (Ronald); his nieces and
4nephews, Laquita, Carlita, Jonnette, Jasmine, Krishna,
5Kindall, Natavia, Stephen, Keyahna, Brandon, Ellis, Noelle,
6Noah, and Nikolas; and his many other relatives and friends;
7therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10Michael Brett Carmouche and extend our sincere condolences to
11his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
12further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Michael Carmouche as an expression
15of our deepest sympathy.
