SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Martin Theodore Krakovec of Rock Island, 
4who passed away on March 27, 2019; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Martin Krakovec was born in Bessemer, Michigan to 
6Martin and Katherine Lemonick Krakovec on December 1, 1935; he 
7served in the United States Marine Corps for three years; he 
8married Corrine Tomczyk on October 3, 1959; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Martin Krakovec worked for the Container 
10Corporation of America (later MacMillan Bloedel); he retired in 
111998 after 41 years of service; and
  
 

  
12    WHEREAS, Martin Krakovec is survived by his wife of nearly 
1360 years, Corrine; his son, Tim (Diana) Krakovec; his daughter, 
14Laura Krakovec; and his grandchildren, Dr. Kristin Krakovec and 
15Nicholas Krakovec; therefore, be it
  
 
16    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
17ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
18Martin Theodore Krakovec and extend our sincere condolences to 
19his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
